You buy a piece
Every Vulgar Spirit garment carries a hand-pressed QR sigil — unique, numbered, and tied to a serial code printed below it. It ships with you and only you in mind.

The first scan binds it
Open the Scanner on this site. Point your camera at your sigil. We verify authenticity in under a second and bind the piece to your profile, forever. No one else can claim it.

Strangers can scan it too
When someone meets you in the street and scans your sigil, they see your handle, your rank, and your gallery. They can follow you, like your fits, or claim a sigil of their own.

Every scan moves the network
Each scan — yours or anyone else's — feeds your rank. Climb high enough and you unlock the next drop before anyone else, plus a private channel with the founders.

Upload to the gallery
Share photos of your fit. Sightengine AI auto-moderates NSFW and unsafe content. Every uploaded image is watermarked with the Vulgar Spirit sigil. Your face stays yours.

The piece outlives you
Sigils persist. If you ever resell a piece, the next owner can re-bind it through the Scanner. Provenance is permanent — the lineage is part of the garment.

after their first scan.
What if I lose my piece?+
The sigil stays bound to you. If someone else scans it, they see your handle, not theirs. Lost-and-found by design.
Can I sell or gift my piece?+
Yes. The new owner can re-bind through the Scanner. Provenance — every soul that has owned it — stays visible. Permanent receipts beat ownership theatre.
Do you store my photos or scans?+
Scans are processed on-device when possible. Photos you upload are stored in our Supabase + Cloudinary stack and passed through Sightengine for moderation. We never sell or share.
Does the QR survive washing?+
Yes. We use a screen-pressed signal-yellow ink on heavyweight cotton. We've tested 60 cycles. It will outlive the rest of your wardrobe.
Why limit drops to 200 pieces?+
A finite network has weight. Limited supply keeps the leaderboard meaningful, the gallery curated, and the community small enough to actually know each other.
